Staying at La Papessa let you be among art, history and culture. A few meters away there are important events and museums where you can take both permanent and temporary exhibitions.
At the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia (4 minutes walk from La Papessa) from 16 November 2011 to February 5, 2012 "Rome at the time of Caravaggio from 1600 to 1630." Alongside the works of the great painter (including "The Madonna of the Pilgrims") are paintings by other great artists: Orazio and Artemisia Gentileschi (Susanna and the Elders), The Cavalier D'Arpino, Guido Reni, Annibale Carracci, Baglione (Sacred Love , Profane Love).
In front of La Papessa there are three museums:
Doria Panphilj Palace, residence of princes and princesses where you can visit the apartments and also the gallery, including works of art (private collection);
Del Corso Museum with a Permanent Collection consists of an original excursion of works that span a very broad art-historical period, from '400 to '900. From 4 October 2011 to January 22, 2012 in the exhibition "Georgia O'Keeffe";
Sciarra Colonna Palace Museum: the exhibition "Renaissance in Rome. In the name of Michelangelo and Raphael" from 24 October 2011 to February 12, 2012
